Porcelain teeth
All porcelain anterior and posterior teeth meet the highest requirements concerning strength, grindability, anatomical shape, natural characterization, shades (available in several shade systems), and fluorescence.
The teeth are professionally being manufactured, vacuum fired, and carefully individually inspected, both regarding quality and aesthetics, according to ISO 4824:1993, and bearing the CE-mark.
Acrylic teeth
All acrylic anterior and posterior teeth meet the highest requirements concerning strength, grindability, and anatomical shape.
The teeth are a perfect reproduction of nature. They are built up in several layers. They are available in the popular shade systems. All acrylic teeth are being produced and inspected according to ISO 3336:1993, and bearing the CE-mark.
Optiform ® posteriors
Professor Dr. W. Kalk (University of Groningen) made some important modifications to Dr. Payne's original system. With the posteriors that he developed it is easy to realize the Lingualized Occlusion System.
The main advantages of the Lingualized Occlusion System using the Optiform ® posteriors, are:
- Positioning, checking, re-positioning, and grinding have substantially been simplified;
- Indications for a cross-bite are seldom necessary;
- The cup-shaped fossae in the mandibular teeth prevent undesirable forces in lateral movements.
For these reasons Optiform ® posteriors are ideal for:
- All removable dentures, particularly overdentures;
- Patients having a low or very low alveolar ridge.
Optiform® posteriors are available in both porcelain and acrylic in three moulds:
30, 34, and 34s, and in several popular shade systems.
